Singer Chinmayi Sripaada on Thursday took to her social media to react to the newly released documents of the Epstein files. “The fact that people need a dead man’s files to believe a thousand living women… tells you everything about whose voices they value and whose they don’t,” (sic) the singer wrote.
On Tuesday, the singer had shared an X post that shared screenshots of emails Indian-American author Deepak Chopra supposedly sent to Epstein, with a caption that said “Deepak Chopra in the Epstein Files. I am wondering how many more powerful Indians are going to be named.”
Sripaada, quite known for her bold statements on social and gender issues, made the context of newly released Epstein Files, which, in over 6 million pages of documents, has images and videos detailing the illegal activities of American financier and convicted child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and his social circle of powerful public figures that included politicians and celebrities.
US President Donald Trump, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, Tesla CEO Elon Musk, among others, are accused of being part of Epstein’s alleged pedophile network. Few Indian celebrities, such as Anurag Kashyap, Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan etc are also mentioned in the list, according to media reports.
