Professor's response to single mom skipping class is shocking

The response had this young mum in tears.

Being a parent is hard work, being a single parent can be twice as challenging.

Managing work, your child and your life can be difficult. Some days can be tougher than most. Single mom Morgan King, who is also a student, recently, experienced a day when nothing was going right.

The 21-year-old who is studying Therapeutic Recreation at the University of Tennessee had to miss a class because she couldn't find a babysitter for her three-month-old girl Korbyn.

She explained her circumstance to her professor, Dr Sally B Hunter. Hunter's response to the new mom was not only epic but definitely shocking to thousands.

In an email, Professor Hunter, who is from the Department of Child and Family Studies suggested a solution the next time a sitter is unavailable."BRING HER with you to class," she said. The teacher was not kidding and assured King she was "very serious" about the offer. “I would be absolutely delighted to hold her while I teach, so that you can still pay attention to class and take notes,” Hunter stated in the email. She also pointed out that it would be terrible if she did not allow a child to visit class given the subject she teaches.

A very appreciative King shared the heart-warming email on Twitter which went viral.

The letter has been liked more than 27, 000 times and retweeted almost 5,000 times.
