Husband threatens firemen for saving drowning wife in Ahmedabad
The rescue team of the Ahmedabad Fire and Emergency Services (AFES) was left baffled after a man lambasted them for saving his wife’s life. The firemen had managed to rescue a woman trying to commit suicide at the Sabarmati Riverfront on Thursday which shockingly did not go down well with her husband.
The 37-year-old woman had reportedly taken the extreme step after a fight with her spouse. She revealed to the police that her husband had accused her of infidelity, according to media reports. The couple has two children together.
The husband, a CNG pump owner, quickly arrived at the spot after being alerted of his wife’s suicide attempt. Instead of being grateful to the rescuers, he began inquiring that with whose permission they decided to save his wife’s life. Not only did he click their pictures but also threatened that he would seek revenge from them in the future.
