HR firm on cloud nine

Husys Consulting Ltd becomes the first-ever HR firm to be listed in the National Stock Exchange.

Gundlapally Ramalinga Reddy, founder of Husys Consulting Ltd, is on cloud nine. His is the first listed HR firm in India and the first NSE Emerge-listed company from Telugu-speaking states. NSE Emerge is the platform at the NSE for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Being listed on NSE Emerge helps any SME with the visibility it needs and helps raise the required funds based on its growth requirements, from time to time.

But that’s not Ramalinga’s only claim to fame. In his attempt to ensure that his clients recruited the best possible talent and always stayed a step ahead, he developed and patented an HR services model named Human Resources Function Outsourcing (HRFO).

Nurturing talent
The company started with a hand loan of Rs 33,000 in 2002, but over the years, it has grown leaps and bounds. Today it is a Rs 33-crore company, operating in 10 cities across India, and working with partners from 80 countries across the globe. Ramalinga aims for it to be a hundred crore company in the next few years.

Helping emerging ecosystems
Ramalinga explains that his company builds people with independent HR systems that are customised to a given organisation’s requirements. Husys has been helping set up more than 20 international start-ups in India. Some of the clients of HR consulting firm include international fortune companies like Tyson Foods, Astrazeneca and Armstrong. “Our HR cloud application ‘Enable People’ is for start-ups and SME organisations. The application helps them manage the entire life cycle of people in the most cost effective and efficient manner. Husys also helps establish International companies in India as PEO (also known as Employer of Records),” elaborates Ramalinga Reddy, signing off.
