The community of adventurous backpackers, Tagsbikez, is organising a two-day New Year camp in Munnar. “Leave the city to the crowds and spend a night under the blanket of stars, sitting around a cozy campfire with your dear ones. Welcome to the new camping experience,” say the organisers through their social media account.
Day one will include a trek and the participants will be taken to Suryanelli to see the sun set. On day two, the team will trek towards the campsite at Chokramudi Mountain. Enroute, participants can take a dip in the waters of the natural jacuzzi or just enjoy the falling waters. Campers will be able to watch the sunrise on the New Year’s Day in Chokramudi. Buffet will be available each day.
The two-day camp will also have some interesting contests like Rider Selfie Contest, Best Rider, and Tortoise Race. Prizes will be given to the best young camper, oldest camper, coolest female camper, and the best picture of the day.
