Woman in Belgium suspected to have cooked her 2-year-old daughter alive

Gruesome crimes reported from across the world have often come across as shocking, but some involving family members can make people question their faith humanity itself. Incidents like a man raping his 70-year-old mother and a 13-year-old abusing younger siblings are just few among many blood curdling incidents.

In yet another revolting turn of events, a woman in Belgium is suspected of cooking her two-year-old daughter alive on a barbeque. The speculation comes after police found the girl’s charred body and neighbours said they heard a girl screaming while smoke came out from under the garage door.

The 27-year-old woman hasn’t been named but is reported to have told authorities that both of them burning together was the only way for them to reach heaven, according to Daily Mail. The woman is said to have been depressed after going through a divorce and was living with her mother who had left the house at the time of the incident.

The woman’s mental state prevented investigators from interviewing her immediately.
