Koushik Sengupta completed his Master’s in Business Administration and run a successful businessman of motor spare parts in City Of Joy Kolkata. But that is only one aspect of his multifaceted personality. Most of his friends and fans know that he is an excellent and seasoned photographer as well. He began photography as a hobby during his graduation days. During a trip to Dubai he captured the beauty of the city in his camera as well as mobile phone and uploaded few pictures on Instagram, which got overwhelming response from friends and followers. This motivated him to follow photography more seriously, he discovered hidden beauty in simple things and started capturing at various places inside his city which is famous for its old British architecture. He saw the things with entirely different perspective than a common man. He is totally in love with his gadget a Sony Alpha A7R3 camera, that has helped him captured the beauty of various cities of the world.
This talented young man has another side of him too, which is of a humanitarian who is concerned about many atrocities existing in our society. He supports the cause of gender equality and women empowerment and helped poor people during Amphan cyclone in coastal area. He states “We have come a long way as independent republic, we must ensure that woman of our houses and our nation are not treated as second or inferior sex. We must create a support system where they can progress socially as well as economically.” He closely works with many NGOs including Mother’s Lap. Koushik Sengupta actively leads the bi-annual fund-raising event of this NGO to provide for food and clothing arrangements for underprivileged women. He has also signed an online petition for reinstatement of Pre-Natal Pre-Conception Diagnostic Techniques Act for prevention of selective abortions.
And this is not all when entire world including our country is fighting with deadly COVID-19 he has donated generously in PM Cares Fund and West Bengal Emergency Relief Fund.
Koushik has almost 70000 followers on Instagram, his followers totally admire his talent and in return he also wants to give them back. He regularly organizes giveaways on Instagram to support and motivate people who want to follow their passion and take their talent too many more people.
