Video: Helpless woman gets emotional after colleagues raise money for travel expenses
There are a lot of people living literally hand-to-mouth and have to sometimes sacrifice on things they love because of the lack of money. However, a Columbian woman was finding it difficult to even reach her work place because of the lack of cash and a kind gesture from her co-workers will leave everybody teary-eyed.
According to a media report, Tia Benbow had been finding it difficult to reach work after all her money was be used for her daily necessities and so she told her boss she had decided to quit. Tia working at Firestone Complete Auto Care was in for a surprise because all the employees including the manager Charlie Brown chipped in and raised 1,300 dollars for her travel expenses. Tia couldn’t believe it and immediately started crying because of the kind gesture.
The video was posted by her colleague Eric Amos and has now gone viral with over 21,000 shares and two million views. The post has received immense support and a lot of people are donating so that Tia Benbow can have a better life and are helping restore faith in humanity.
