Tensions have been on the rise between India and Pakistan at several occasions in the past couple of years and the death sentence of Kulbhushan Yadav has only fueled the divide and resentment further. These are also times when stressing on a need to establish peace is more crucial than ever and what better way to go forward with it than laugh at ourselves.
A stand up comedian from Pakistan performed at the Indian cultural centre of University of Florida, and brought out the brotherhood that people on both sides share beyond the bitter political rivalry.
Akbar Chaudry pointed out similarities between Indians and Pakistanis as people shared a hearty laugh. He showed how Indians and Pakistanis all love free stuff and hate Himesh Reshamiya apart from other little things we all have in common.
