A video of a dog almost being hanged to death in an elevator has been doing the rounds online. The terrier almost met an accidental death when his leash got stuck in the elevator door.
The poor pooch was left hanging by its collar and was struggling to get free before the leash finally broke.
The incident took place in St Petersburg, Russia and the footage was recorded in the CCTV that was inside the lift.
The video shows a mother with her son getting inside the lift and as the door begins to close, the black dog rushes behind in process dragging the leash behind it.
The door closes and starts to move downward and from that very moment the dog ends up being dragged to the door.
As per reports, the owner of the dog was on the other side of the lift door. The dog was saved because of the quick thinking of the woman, who stopped the lift and saved the dog’s life.
As per reports the dog was safe and didn’t get any serious injuries.
