Video: Woman wakes up to 5m-long python in her bedroom

The python extended from her guestroom to the hallway.

Imagine waking up to a long python in your bedroom, now that would be scary isn’t it?

Trina Hibberd, a resident of Mission Beach in Queensland, Australia, woke up to find a 5m-long python in her bedroom.

As per reports the python was living in her roof for a long time.

The python, which she called Monty, was really huge. It extended from her guestroom to the hallway.

“Its frigging huge! Have it locked in bedroom waiting for help……my life is never boring,” she wrote in a post on Facebook.

She posted a picture and a video of the snake on Facebook, since then the video has gone viral. The video has got over 358K views and 1100 shares.

However, this isn’t the first time that the python has visited the Hibberd.

“First photo I have of him…was in 2012 but I’m pretty sure he’s been in the roof for a lot longer. He used to slither down into the pool area for a feed & a drink then slither back up just before sunrise unless he had a tummy full of food & got stuck. Am pretty happy that he’s gone. Snake catcher said he was a kangaroo killer!” she wrote.

“When you go near them they have this real deep gurgle in their throat, which means in other words don’t come near me,” told snake-catcher, Dave Goodwin to BBC.
