How do you think a person would react if they saw a lioness trying to eat their baby? Well, one toddler’s family chose to laugh and clap because the ferocious beast was separated from their child by a thick pane of glass.

The shocking moment that has been caught on camera shows a hungry lioness at a zoo trying her best to eat the baby who safely sat on the other side of the glass. The animal at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs, Colorado at first tried to stalk little Trent, which had caused him to cry a little. Later she is even seen opening her gaping jaws and trying to bite his head off in vain.

The video has been watched almost 11 million times after it was posted on YouTube and has sparked different reactions from viewers. While some found the video to be cute, others felt extremely uncomfortable watching the lioness salivating at the sight of the baby.
