These are done by people who we take for granted because it’s their job to make our day to day lives easier. Amit Kumar Singh (26) who works with Convergent Communications shares his experience, “I registered to be a Secret Santa online and nominated the security guard in my building as I've been seeing him work day and night. It’s quite cold in the nights these days and giving him a blanket was such a fabulous idea. The smile on his face made me very happy too. Making others in need happy always gives you happiness. These guards are doing a thankless job without any rewards and very low salaries. When I handed over the blanket to him, he was delighted and filled me with joy as it was a great cause.”
Now anyone can become a Secret Santa in Bengaluru. How? We also took a selfie with them and since I live away from my family, they seemed like a part of my family. It's important to be good to people around you, beyond any boundaries of language, religion or social status.
