It’s about meeting your school buddies and spending time with people who have known you before you became this mind-numbingly busy person that you are now.

Thanks to social media platforms like WhatsApp and Facebook, we have all been able to reconnect from across the world. You always feel young when you meet old friends. We had a ball of a time. Usually, at an age where we sleep by 11 in the night, we were up till 2 in the morning, dancing.

It was at our 25 years reunion which happened a few years ago, that we had about 60 couples come in from different parts of the world. It was nostalgic and a very emotional moment for all of us.
Even though everyone was doing exceptionally well in their life and reached the pinnacle of their careers, such an air did not exist. It was so casual — cracking jokes about each other and talking about our journeys. We took a group picture, and Satya Nadella was standing in one corner of the frame. We remembered our teachers, their habits and their contributions to our lives. The highlight of the event was when each one of us took to the stage one after the other to dole out anecdotes and instances about our dear friends, who we were meeting after so long. Even though most of us were in our late 40s, it felt as if we were teenagers once again, and like we had met only yesterday.
