Video: Man pulling out a snake from vending machine gets intense
People all over the world use vending machines. Put that coin in and we look forward to our treat - a coke, chocolate bar or a pack of chips perhaps.
But one particular dispenser didn't churn out the usual goody expected. A video on Youtube captured the moment a snake was discovered coiled up in a machine in Chatsworth, Illinois (US).
In the video, three men can be seen peering inside the machine and can be heard discussing a way to get it out. Lucky for them a technician, who was at the time servicing the machine, was on hand. "I work for a vending company, and while finishing up on the service of the pop machine I hear a hiss/rattle. I looked to my left only to find I was nose to nose with a snake," the man stated in the video's description.
They couldn't decipher what kind of snake it was. They thought maybe it could be a rattlesnake. One bite from this kind and it can be dangerous, but rarely fatal.
Not wanting to take any chances, the technician decided to wear a pair of gloves before he stuck his hand in there to get it out. A few seconds later the man grabbed the snake by its tail and successfully extracted it out.
"That's nasty," said one person. "It looks like a bullsnake," said another. On inspection the man holding the snake said it is definitely not a rattlesnake. He then walks to take it outside the building.
Making the incident even creepier, the man filming the video says that there are four more snakes inside the machine. The video ended before we get a chance to find out of that is true or not, but we sure hope it wasn’t.
