I kept cash because I needed weed,' man who lost wallet recieves hilarious note
Have you lost your wallet and think it might return? Though we can’t say about you but all hope was certainly not lost for this New York man.
Reilly Flaherty lost his wallet at a concert in Brooklyn. Like any other person, Flaherty thought that everything was gone and never coming back.
Two weeks later after losing his wallet, he received an envelope at his home. The envelope had few of his belongings likes credit cards and driving license along with a hilarious note.
When he lost his belonging within few days, he got his credit cards blocked and got a new driver’s license.
He found a strange note from the person who found the wallet, according to NBC 4 NY.
Flaherty posted a snap of his note on Instagram and it read:
Dear Reilly Flaherty
I found your wallet, and your drivers license had your address so here's your credit cards and other important stuff.
I kept the cash because I needed weed, the MetroCard because, well, the fare's $2.75 now, and the wallet 'cause it's kinda cool. Enjoy the rest of your day.

Flaherty told NBC 4 that he couldn't believe the 'good Samaritan' went to those lengths to write out a letter and actually mail back his half-stolen wallet. If nothing else, it's something me and my friends have laughed about quite a bit.
In fact Flahery was also offered a free ticket for an upcoming show by The Kings Theatre, where he lost his wallet.
“I was fairly certain my wallet was lost and not coming back, but I held onto a little hope that it was lost at a Wilco show in Brooklyn, and most of the people I know that are into Wilco’s brand of music are generally good people,” Flaherty told Mashable.
