'1.2 billion celebrate 2 losing medals': Piers Morgan gets trolled for mocking India
Piers Morgan, known for getting into the news due to his Twitter posts, recently got trolled for his criticizing India's hyped celebration at winning two Rio Olympics medals.
Some hours back, the British journalist took to his Twitter handle to repost a report on India welcoming its Olympic achievers and wrote alongside, "Country with 1.2 billion people wildly celebrates 2 losing medals. How embarrassing is that?"

His comment didn't go down well with the Twitterers and in no time, they started slamming the 51-year-old TV personality saying, "Nothing more embarrassing than being Piers Morgan."
"@piersmorgan Piers, population size has literally no correlation to sporting success at all., wrote the other," tweeted another.
"@Mendelpol Let's not forget how developed nations force sports of their choice to have multiple medals. U must b 1 proud bully @piersmorgan," said one.
"@piersmorgan slamming fans in small towns that don't have a lot to celebrate is strange behavior from a man who has a lot," wrote another.
Earlier this month, Morgan was also slammed for his tweet about Olympic medals.
"Just can't get excited by Silver & Bronze medals. You win or you lose. Gold is all that matters. #Olympics2016," Morgan tweeted then.
Many, notably English swimmer Chris Walker-Hebborn, who competed at the 2012 Olympics and in Rio this year, did not take it well and said, "Jog on you muppet."
