Novelist Durjoy Datta live-tweets marriage proposal to long-time girlfriend
Best-selling author Durjoy Datta decided to pop the marriage question to his girlfriend Avantika Mohan in the most epic way ever – using Twitter! He even used the hashtag #marrymeavantika to get her to say yes.
On Tuesday, Durjoy tweeted to his fans asking to support him in his romantic mission by flooding Avantika’s timeline on Twitter. He said that Avantika was travelling aboard a flight at the time and revealed that he would be waiting for her at the airport with a placard reading ‘The Love of My Life’.
Luckily for him, she not only agreed to his proposal but also put up a cute picture on Twitter. Here’s are the tweets that led her to say yes to Durjoy.
