The demonetisation of high value currency notes in India has put bank employees at financial institutions under significant pressure as they strive to ensure that ordinary citizens are able to access the new banknotes issued by the government. In such a scenario an elderly lady in Lucknow chose to express her gratitude towards them in a beautiful way.
This video, which was uploaded by an SBI employee on November 20, shows the polite woman going to each bank employee’s desk and gifting them a rose. She also thanked them for working extra hours so that people are able to transition in a smoother way.
