When First Daughter Ivanka Trump decided to teach Twitter users about solar eclipse, little did she expect that she would be trolled. Ivanka shared a graphic explaining how an eclipse is formed and wrote, “Wondering how it works? In a solar #eclipse, the moon passes between the sun & Earth & blocks all or part of the sun for up to about 3 hrs (sic).”
Not only did social media users mock her, but also her father and President Donald Trump. Twitter user Devin Duke posted a photo of Donald Trump and wrote, “The only eclipse I’m worried about right now (sic).” Whereas, another user named Tony Posnanski tweeted, “Thank you! Now teach your dad the difference between heel and heal (sic).”
People even mocked her for teaching them about the eclipse. “We’ve taken science classes, thanks. I'll ask for your help if I ever need champagne popsicles (sic),” Melissa Smith? wrote. Another user mocked her father, writing, “Yeah, a majority of us know how to read, unlike dear old dad (sic).”
Well, whether or not her post was useful, Twitter users did have a field day.
