It’s not every day that you listen to DJ Aerreo performing live in our very own Kochi. Nikhil Mehta, aka Aerreo, DJ/producer who was featured in Nicky Romero’s prestigious Protocol Radio, will test the adrenaline rush of Kochi at the event Evolution hosted by Volume at Holiday Inn hotel on June 15.
Aerreo kicked off his dance and music career at the age of 13 and pursued it alongside his graduation, after which he made it a fulltime profession. He moved from India to the dance capital of the UK – London – where he began clocking in hours of music and landing massive gigs like playing a sold-out Armada Night with DJ’s Andy Moor, Tenishia and singer Emma Hewitt at the esteemed Ministry of Sound and Anjunabeats label night along with Super8 & Tab, Jaytech and DJ Orkidea. Adding more feathers to his cap, Aerreo is also a two-time winner of the DJ competition of Asia’s biggest dance music happening — Sunburn Festival.
On March 1st, DJ Aerreo dropped another release Blind Faith under CR2 records, the label that has had releases from artists like David Guetta, Steve Angello, Avicii and Nicky Romero. With much more planned for the year, Aerreo is prepped up to leave his imprint in the EDM circuit. Paprt from Aerreo, the live gig, will feature Tominen, Ashif Jamal and Antonio Lal.
