Popping the question can be a nerve-wracking experience for most men. But now planning an unforgettable proposal has gotten a lot easier thanks to professional marriage proposal planners.
Daisy Amodio, 35, is the founder of The Proposers, which helps people plan epic marriage proposals. She claims that 95 per cent of the time it is heterosexual men planning and paying for such proposals. She adds that the average man is willing to spend as much as £2,000 to make the big moment even more special, “Most people want singers, a sign and some romantic décor,” she tells the Independent.
Before becoming a proposal expert, Daisy worked in advertising five years ago. She got the idea for her business after planning a personalised treasure hunt and sunset proposal for her younger brother. Cut to the present, The Proposers have planned around 1,000 proposals and even got their own TV show.
Daisy and her team of three employees plus an intern help their clients’ proposals become a success. Their work has taken them to different parts of the world – from Nigeria to Iceland. It usually requires about an average of one month’s time for them to plan a proposal but last-minute requests are not turned down.
