Kottayam: The international paragliding festival, which began at Vagamon in Idukki district on Sunday, has become a big draw. The fest organized by the Idukki District Tourism Promotion Council also offers 14 adventure sporting activities, including rifle shooting.
The fee for paragliding is Rs 3,500. Idukki DTPC secretary Jayan P. Vijayan told DC that the event which will be on till January 27 will promote adventure sporting. The fest was inaugurated by Idukki MP Joyce George when 25 persons used the facility.
