According to a Linkedin post, the Royals are looking for a Communications Assistant.

According to a Linkedin post, it seems that the Royals are looking for an ‘exceptional’ member of staff to join their staff.

And if the job posting is anything to go by, the perks of the job are pretty good.

The job, for Communications Assistant, will get to attend Royal engagements at home and abroad and organise events – and the office address is pretty special too.

The ad, placed on Linked In, explains: “Although based primarily at Buckingham Palace, you'll also travel in the UK or overseas to support important visits and engagements.”

The role includes organising coverage of “set-piece Palace engagements including investitures and garden parties.”

The 12-month fixed term contract involves producing content for social media and writing press releases and news updates for the Royal family's website, and may also include an invitation to the wedding of the year – when Prince Harry weds Meghan Markle in May.

Describing the team as “dynamic” the advert goes on to describe working in the Royal household in glowing terms.

The job posting reads, “With the Royal Household, everyday jobs become exceptional. This is because, whatever their role and whichever department they’re in, our people are part of something remarkable. They provide invaluable support to The Queen and Royal Family, enabling them to fulfil their duties and serve the nation. And, working in magnificent and historic surroundings, they’re inspired to deliver to a higher standard.”
