Man files RTI request to ask if Indian government is prepared for 'zombie invasions'
A concerned Indian citizen decided to use the Right To Information (RTI) Act to get an answer regarding a largely ignored threat to the nation: a zombie apocalypse. You read that right. A man who goes by the name Ajay Kumar had filed an RTI request to inquire about the government’s preparedness in case of an invasion by aliens or zombies.
Not only did Kumar ask about how exactly the government plans to protect us from “aliens or zombies or extra dimensional beings” but also if we stand a good chance without Will Smith. Of course, Will Smith has his Hollywood credentials to cement his position as the indispensable ‘space hero’. Of course, the Indian government did not disappoint him.

Pictures of the bizarre RTI application went viral after they were posted on Twitter by a journalist. Although the request was originally filed on March 15 this year and was first posted on the Facebook page Yourti.in in June, it has been picked up by social media now.
