Video: Student's reaction after opening exam result on live TV will make your cringe

The suspense surrounding test results can get even the most chilled out students biting their nails out of fear. Sometimes you are lucky and you get the grades you were hoping for or even better. Even if you don’t, you can always hide under the bed and have a good cry about it. But what do you do when the worst happens and you’re on live TV?

The Good Morning Britain show recently featured three students who had to open their A-level exam results on camera in front of thousands of viewers. While the two girls happily laughed when they opened their envelope, the guy’s face froze with shock and disappointment. The video shows the precise moment when the poor boy realizes that his plans to go to his dream university have crashed horribly.

Not surprisingly, the rest of the interview was conducted very awkwardly after a brief uncomfortable silence. Perhaps it’s got something to do with the fact that he had chosen maths, chemistry, and physics as his subjects. Hey, we still feel for him.
