School's letter to autistic boy who failed his exams wins the internet

The letter deeply moved the boy's mother who went on to share it on Twitter.

An 11-year-old boy with learning difficulties was pleasantly surprised after his school sent him an encouraging letter despite the fact that he couldn’t clear his exams. Ben Twist, who was diagnosed with autism at the age of five, had recently sat for a series of tests but was unable to pass them. It was then that the assistant head teacher at his school, Ruth Clarkson, decided to write him a letter to remind him that grades aren’t everything.

The letter deeply moved Ben’s mother, Gail Twist, who also went on to share it on Twitter. His teacher not only acknowledged the boy’s efforts but also mentioned his positive traits in a bid to motivate him.

The sweet letter has now been widely retweeted on social media and has a struck a chord with thousands of people.
