Apart from the hype created by the Indian cricket fans about India’s win against Pakistan in the ICC Champions Trophy, the country’s astrologers, too, jumped into the bandwagon, predicting India’s victory!
Worse still, astrologer Greenstone Lobo, who foretold India’s victory based on his readings of the birth charts of the respective team captains and main players. He said players of Team India had the stars in their favour and not Pakistan! And now, he blames the possible inaccuracy in the birth dates of Pakistani players!
“Many Pakistani players’ recorded birth details are not right. Even in 2009, I did not expect Pakistan to win. After their victory, the then captain Younis Khan announced that he would retire from T20 cricket as he was over 35 years old. But according to the official data, he was just 33 then. This time too, I think some players’ birth dates may have been incorrect.”
Bejan Daruwalla, the renowned astrologer, too, predicted an India win. “I will say only in one word that India will win,” he had said before the match.
