Heartbreaking video shows sea lion crying over death of her child

This heart-wrenching video shows a mother sea lion crying and mourning death of her dear child.

Just like humans, animals feel the pain, shed tears and share the grief. This video shows a mammal shedding tears and howling around the death body of her baby on a beach in San Diego.

According to the reports, the baby sea lion had a premature birth this week. The footage shows the mother weeping and trying to wake her child. She also desperately tries to revive her child.

The video was filmed by Andrea Else Hahn and was posted on ‘The Best Video You Will Ever See’, Facebook page. The video has got over 1.1 million views, 23,000 likes and 28,000 shares.

“We humans have a tendency to think that we are the only animal who grieves the loss of a son or daughter. This heart breaking video, showing a sea lion who lost her baby, should be a waking call to us all,” read the post.
