Christmas cheer

A special fusion art and music session was also organised by experts on the day.

Priya Rajiv from Concern India Foundation was behind a special Christmas carnival that saw underprivileged children participate in loads of fun-filled activities.

“I wanted the children to enjoy every bit of the day and actively participate in various activities. The artefacts that the children created on the occasion were sold to raise funds for children just like them,” shares Priya. The brightly lit Club Botanika was festively decorated in Christmassy red on Sunday. The event also hosted fun art and music sessions for the children. Six to 11 year olds were seen busily creating beautiful artwork on Sunday. A special fusion art and music session was also organised by experts on the day.

“A musical storytelling session was organised to engage and educate the children. They were then invited to paint their own understanding from the story. A group of children from African nations also sang Christmas Carols, to which everyone merrily joined in,” adds Priya.
