Video game for panchatantra
With the age of social media driven by the power of new and unique applications which are developed on an everyday basis, the technological phenomena has even made its way into the film industry. While filmmakers thrive for such opportunities to reach more number of tech savvy audiences, dedicated movie apps are slowly gaining momentum. In a first for the Kannada film industry, a dedicated video game app based on the Kannada movie Panchatantra, directed by the talented filmmaker Yogaraj Bhat is being released on Tuesday.
None other than Rocking Star Yash is releasing Panchatantra The Game along with the trailer of the film.
The director says that the idea for video game was that of the producer. The game will have the same kinds of cars and even characters from the film.
“A Delhi-based company has developed the game. It is unique not just in terms of design but also due to the game being completely based on the film. The game will be available in Kannada and English,” says Yogaraj Bhat.
The game which will also have information about the film from the teaser, trailers, songs and posters and a link to the official website, is being made available on both Android and iPhone.
Insofar as the game is concerned, the makers explain that in the film, the race is between two race cars but in the game, four more more cars are added with five difficult levels.
In the past, apps were created for films like Simpleaag Ond Love Story, Lucia, Andar Bahar, and even for the classic film Om, which was made 20 years after its release, has catered to the tech savvy movie loving audiences at a click of a button on their personal smart devices.
