Aerialist falls to death on stage during performance leaving audiences horrified

Gravity defying stunts have for long been one of the most popular ways to entertain crowds, but precautions are necessary to avoid catastrophe. There have been several incidents when such performances have gone wrong leaving audiences horrified.

In a shocking accident from Tampa, an aerialist performing a routine fell to his death on the stage right in front of the crowd. 38-year-old Yann Arnaud was performing the aerial straps number when he came crashing down as he was rushed to a nearby hospital.

He succumbed to his injuries soon after being taken to the hospital. Hours before the tragedy, Yann had posted about his excitement to debut the straps duo act on stage.

Yann appeared to lose his grip on the strap following a spin with another performer Walczewski.
