The event started off with a shocking revelation that someone had been murdered and that the killer was amongst the audience.

The city witnessed a murder. And Hyderabadis were invited to catch the killer. Author Ajinkya Bhasme’s book, The Devil Whispers, was launched at Phoenix Arena on Friday. The event started off with a shocking revelation that someone had been murdered and that the killer was amongst the audience. Throughout the launch the audience was given multiple clues that lead up to a number, which subsequently would reveal the killer’s name.

The activities were in tandem with the theme of the book, as the plotline is of a crime fiction based on how the Indian judiciary functions. Ajinkya Bhasme, as he would like to call himself, is a plethora of things. A dancer, author, story-teller, amongst others. But will his book stand the test of literary critics is yet to be seen. The event also featured a beautiful performance by, Hyderabad’s very own eight-year-old Jia Thakur, who recently won the Dance India Dance championship and is also a student of the author.
