Coke Studio fame Momina Mustehsan's response to a troll is epic
Coke Studio Pakistan has only grown in popularity on both sides of the border over the past few years and with it people have come to identify a lot of budding and highly talented new artists.
If it was seasoned singer Atif Aslam’s Tajdar E Haram which mesmerised people last year, this time it was the legendary Rahat Fateh Ali Khan who rocked a rendition of Afreen Afreen accompanied by newbie Momina Mustehsan.
As the song became popular, Momina was praised for her voice, but people couldn’t stop talking about her looks. While many thought she needed to be appreciated for her talent rather than looks, there was also bashing of the singer who has already made three appearances.
In a similar attempt, an online troll called Momina Mustehsan ugly and tried to insult her by comparing her to a made in his house. But the reply he got was something he never expected and also brought more appreciation for Momina as an individual.
While Momina said that she never claimed to be pretty, she also maintained how being compared to woman who works hard is far from an insult to her.
Tweeple were quick to respond by appreciating the mature and sensible reply.
