First dates can be painfully awkward. You have no idea how the other person will react and yet are desperate to impress them. But some first dates can end up as complete disasters and will leave you reeling under their effects for months and maybe even years.
Twitter user Keith Dube asked his followers to come forward with tales about the worst first dates they’ve ever been on and not surprisingly several of them responded. Many of these 140-character-long stories might leave you too scared to try out the dating scene again.
But these ‘worst first date’ experiences can also help one to learn and be wary of committing gaffes in the future. On the other hand, it can also serve as a warning sign for those who see their dates displaying similar behaviour to steer clear of them in the future.
