The fashion industry has been guilty of perpetuating stereotypes about beauty and the 'ideal' body image for a long time. So, when the same sector tries to embrace body positivity, then people do look up and notice. This video taken from a fashion show puts all fat shamers to rest by featuring a plus-size model confidently strutting on the runway.
The video shows a heavy male model sashaying on the ramp with incredible oomph as the crowd cheers on. Sporting impeccably winged eyeliner and a stylish hairdo, he aces the catwalk and even unzips his outfit towards the end and wows the audience with an awesome twerking performance.
Let's hope that more and more plus-sized models get such platforms to showcase their looks and talent.
