Actress gets duped by rickshaw driver with the fakest Rs.100 note ever

You can never be too careful.

You most probably know at least one person who has been ripped off by someone with a fake bank note. In fact, you may have even been a victim yourself. But one could argue that the counterfeit note handed over to actress Megha Chakraborty is one of a kind.

Chakraborty, who originally hails from Kolkata, was travelling in Mumbai when she was allegedly hoodwinked by a rickshaw driver into accepting a Rs.100 note that was so perfectly fake that it looked real.

The note had various discrepancies that can be easily ignored by anybody who isn’t paying careful attention. For example, it had the statement ‘one hundred coupon’ instead of ‘one hundred rupees’ plastered on it. The note was even ‘signed’ by Santa Claus instead of the RBI Governor.

Chakraborty’s Facebook post about her nasty experience not only shocked many people but was also shared more than a thousand times on social media.
