The horror blockbuster ‘Conjuring 2’ proved to be too much to handle for a 60-year-old man in Thiruvannamalai who died while watching the movie in the cinema hall on Thursday. The deceased is yet to be identified by the police, said local reports.
The man, a native of Andhra Pradesh, had been staying at an ashram in Thiruvannmalai. It was while watching the movie at the Balasubramaniyar Theatre that he complained of chest pain.
Although the 108-ambulance was contacted immediately, the man had already passed away before it arrived. Doctors have declared that the man had suffered a heart attack, according to the PTI. The man had suffered heart attack in the past too, police officials said, adding, his family did not prefer to file a case and the body was taken to Andhra Pradesh for last rites.
