Auto driver and police constable help reunite lost child with family
The Delhi police often face flak when it comes to women and kids safety. They are criticised due to the increasing crime rate in the capital, however they should also be appreciated when they act as good Samaritans.
Here’s a story shared by Delhi-resident Malvinder Rikhy on Facebook. Rikhy found a police constable and auto driver with a crying little boy roaming around the DDA flats of Kalkaji area in Delhi to find kid’s parents.
The original post read:
Who says that humanity is dead and police is insensitive? Today morning found Constable Dharmender and this unknown auto driver found this lost kid, went all around Kalkaji DDA flats and finally found the parens of this lost kid and handed him over. Three cheers to samaritans like these.”
As soon as the story was shared it went viral and people started appreciating them for their work.
One comment, “Have great respect and regard for them,” while other wrote, “Must honour both, constable and auto driver, they have shown that there are sensitive people around.”
The post has got over 7K shares on social media for all the right reasons.
