Social media helps to find a missing man who was lost and depressed

The family members of Tanmay were under stress because he was mentally ill, this may lead to kidnapping or anti-social elements.

Noida: Helping people to solve their issues with the help of social media is becoming trending nowdays as there are many cases which are turned into stories on social media like Twitter and getting popular day by day because of helping people to solve their problems.

One of these story is of Tanmay Upadhyay,30. The incident took place on December 11 when a Twitter handle @FindingTanmay appeared on the feed of many prominent Indian Twitter accounts. The account was made by friends and family of Tanmay who went missing on December 11 after he left home for a walk.

“Please help find Tanmay, He has been missing since Dec 11 night from Sec-34, NOIDA. @noidapolice is doing its bit,” this Tweet that was made and also many social media celebs were also tagged to make to story more popular and the particular message was retwetted by several people to help.

The family members of Tanmay were more stressed because he was suffering from depression from last 15 days as he was not able to find job since last 3 years after completing his masters degree in 3D animation.

The idea turned to be helpful and someone on Twitter said that they spotted Tanmay in Indrapur Nagar and updated the Noida police. In this way once again social media came into handy to help people and solve their problems.
