Little Miss Flint, the nine-year-old activist who had become the mascot for Flint’s recovery efforts to contain its water contamination crisis, met Donald Trump recently when he visited the city – and didn’t looked happy about it at all. Her uncomfortable facial expressions were quickly noticed by the internet when her photograph with the Republican presidential candidate appeared in social media.
Little Miss Flint, whose real name is Amariyanna Copeny, had become famous when she wrote a letter to President Barack Obama about Flint’s water crisis in May. Her photo with Trump stood in stark contrast of another picture clicked in May in which she is seen happily receiving a warm hug from Obama.

Her unenthusiastic response when shaking hands and posing with Trump quickly drew laughs and many comments from people on Twitter. One online user tweeted "I don't know about anyone else but to me she looks as though she's about to run away crying," while another wrote, "it's clear this child is frightened stiff. Get her away from that man, fast, fast."
