Watch: Chinese girl's cartoon frog lip sync mash-up is a hit on the internet
A young girl in China has become an internet sensation after she painted a giant frog around her mouth and recorded herself lip-syncing to catchy pop songs. She had initially shared the amusing clip on China’s microblogging website Sina Weibo where it was viewed millions of times in the past few days.
The detailed artwork is painted in such a way that her mouth is in the same place as the bright green frog, which makes it look like it is actually the animal doing the singing. The girl even added large, sparkling anime-style eyes to herself on the screen using an app that ends up giving the video kind of a psychedelic feel.
The video shows the girl lip-sync to around eight songs, right from Maroon 5’s Sugar to other hit numbers from famous Chinese and Taiwanese artists.
