Tinder user sends match shocking rant claiming women 'love' being raped

After receiving a lot of backlash, he further went on to defend his views.

28-year-old Charlie Silcox left one of his matches on Tinder a shocking rant claiming women "love" rape, The Sun reported.

"Rape is only unconsensual for about 8 seconds... after that... she loves it," read his message which were later posted on Facebook.

It was on a drunken night at 4 a.m. when Silcox reportedly sent the message, after seeing a picture of his possible suitor on a feminist march.

When his story went viral, Silcox did not apologise but went on to defend his views in an interview with The Tab.

Charlie told The Tab "about 15% of them (women)" orgasm during rape. When asked where he got his facts from, he said: "I read it somewhere a while ago."

He also made the claim that husbands can rape their wives, but added: "It’s not difficult to leave someone who is abusive and if you fail to do so at a certain point, the pain you're going through can only be blamed on yourself."

He also revealed he could have sex on a daily basis over the next month with girls who have requested him to rape them. However, he was unable to provide information about that claim.

Police are currently investigating Charlie over these messages.

In a statement shared with us Tinder said, "At Tinder, we have a zero-tolerance policy on harassment and hate speech. The behavior of this user is inexcusable and we have removed him from our platform."
