Pune girl's doodle makes it to Google's Homepage on Children's Day

The theme for Google's national level competition was 'If I could teach anyone anything, it would be'.

An 11-year-old girl from Pune has won Google’s ‘Doodle 4 Google’ contest and got her doodle featured as the Google Doodle on Children’s Day on November 14. The theme for Google’s national level competition was 'If I could teach anyone anything, it would be'.

Anvita Prashant Telang’s winning entry is called ‘Living in the present’ which encourages living in the moment and enjoying the small pleasures of life. Google India carried out an elaborate voting process in order to select from the various entries.

Children’s Day is celebrated every year in India on the occasion of former Prime Minster Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru’s birthday on 14th November.
