After the hectic West Indies tour, Indian cricket team skipper Virat Kohli is relaxing by spending some quality time with his “love” Anushka Sharma in New York City. Virat, who was spotted taking a stroll on the streets of NYC with the actress, took to Instagram to share an adorable photo. He captioned it, “Much needed break with my (love).” The photo sent fans into a frenzy and has close to two million likes. Anushka is reportedly in NYC to attend the 2017 IIFA Awards.
In an attempt to appreciate women’s cricket, Virat goofed up. He posted a photo of Punam Raut on Facebook with a message for Mithali Raj that read, “A great moment for Indian Cricket, Mithali Raj becomes the highest run scorer in Women’s ODI Cricket History today. Champion Stuff!” This did not go down well with many, who trolled him. Virat soon took down the post.
