Breast cancer is now the most common cancer in most cities in India and the second most common in rural areas, according to statistics from Breast Cancer India. Although there has been a rise in awareness about the dreaded disease in the country in recent years, there’s always more that can be done. This video by Elle India features people, many of them celebrities, being asked some of the creative alternative terms they use to refer to breasts.
Some of the names they said are commonly used like ‘knockers’, ‘mangoes’, ‘tatas’, etc. On the other hand, some folks got a bit creative and started giving out names inspired by popular cartoon characters to even luxury brand names.
Actor Sonakshi Sinha makes the most important point towards the end: ''Call them whatever you want to call them but take care of them.'' We couldn’t agree more.
