Watch: 12-year-old with incurable disease performs Eminem's Not Afraid'
Sparsh Shah, a 12-year-old boy recently won hearts of many people around the globe after he released his cover of Eminem’s 2010 hit ‘Not Afraid’. He is a singer and musician who is popular by his rapper name Purhythm.
Shah who is living in America is suffering from Osteogenesis Imperfecta. According to oif.org Osteogenesis imperfecta (OI) is a genetic disorder characterized by bones that break easily, often from little or no apparent cause. A classification system of different types of OI is commonly used to help describe how severely a person with OI is affected. For example, a person may have just a few or as many as several hundred fractures in a lifetime.
Shah has had 125 fractures till date and no one knows when this will stop. But nothing seems to stop Shah, this 12 year old is making it big and living his dream. One can say he is conquering the world by his soothing voice and riding on his wheel chair.
According to reports, shah has written poems, short stories and around 10 songs. He keeps making appearances on radio and television shows. According to his Twitter account, "He aspires 2 sing in front of a Billion people one day."
In his Facebook post, he wrote:
This my debut clean cover of Eminem's, song, "Not Afraid" (with my classical touch) from his album "Recovery" as my rapper avatar, "PURHYTHM". I feel like "Not Afraid" has been my power song ever since I heard it for the first time and Eminem became my idol in the rap genre. He has inspired me so much with his powerful songs and lyrics (minus curses), and I aspire that one day, I could get to meet him and sing (or rap!) with him. It's always been my dream to inspire BILLIONS of people one day with my musical talent, and I wish that dream comes true. I need your support for that, so please be "Not Afraid" to like my Facebook page and share this song with everyone you know.
This cover was uploaded on YouTube by him and has got over 1.3 millions views. On Facebook the video has got over 588k views, 12,000 likes and over 10,000 shares. We guarantee you that this video will blow your mind.
