It was the week of fun that the students of VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering & Technology were looking forward to. Followed by weeks of preparations, the students’ hard work culminated in the annual fest that saw massive participation. The technical symposium ‘Convergence 2k18’, the biannual entrepreneurship fest ‘Ecficio 1.0’ and the annual cultural fest ‘Sintillashunz ’18’ all came together quite extravagantly.
With interesting guests lighting up the evenings, the students sure had a gala time. Performances by the Re-Ni-Sa band and music director S.S. Tha-man were surely the highlight alongside a touch of EDM by Sartek, Marnik, and Teri Miko. But what seems to have made the event memorable was the dose of Tollywood with celebs like Varun Tej, Sundeep Kishan, Puri Jaga-nnadh and Akash Puri making an attendance. Rapper Pranav Chaganty and lyricist Kittu Vissapragada also graced the college to be a part of certain events.
Meanwhile, the entrepreneurship fest witnessed a total of five competitions that tested the entrepreneurial attitude and aptitude of about 300 student participants from various colleges within the city.
Throughout the week, several interesting events including a Telugu debate, a valedictory function and a seminar on epigraphy amongst several other fun sessions kept the students as well as the guests thoroughly engaged.
