Pakistani consulate in Dubai gives extension on visa till 'February 31'

Dubai: Blunders by officials have been reported in the past with a dog ending up with an aadhar card in Madhya Pradesh and celebrity images finding their way to hall pass for examinations.

But the Pakistani consulate in Dubai just made a hilarious fumble coming up with a whole new version of the calendar since they issued an extension on a visa till “February 31”. The extension was given on January 31 and the officer wanted to extend the visa by a month.

While this was an honest mistake since the date was hand written, the image made it to the internet and twitterati was soon talking about it, as the mix up surfaced on an important document.

Perhaps the official took Donald Trump’s concept of alternative facts too seriously.
