A man has revealed that he got dumped by his girlfriend after she discovered that he had captured a Pokemon at his ex’s house. The Pokemon GO app has taken the internet by storm with players attempting to ‘catch’ Pokemon in different real-time locations using GPS. Evan Scribner told the New York Post that his relationship ended after his now ex-girlfriend checked his game history on Sunday.
She found via the Pokemon GO app that Scribner had been at an old flame’s place in Brooklyn, New York. “She saw that I had caught a Pokémon while at my ex’s house,” he confessed. “She found out last night at my house and hasn’t contacted me since then,” he added.
However, it also seems that Pokemon GO has proved to be lucky for other gamers. TruthHurtsCrown tweeted: “Pokemon Go is great for my mental health. I also got laid.” Another online user @blaq_sav also wrote that “Pokemon go got me laid.”
